The Canine(K9) division has been expanded to include foot patrols for customer sites and has been used in crowd control situations for major events. The use of a dog in conjunction with trained security guards adds a high level of deterrence and piece of mind for Securiguard’s customers.
Securiguard first provided Canine(K9) Explosive Detection services in 2002, inspecting cargo destined for the Vancouver cruise ship terminal at the Port of Vancouver. The Company has partnered with an internationally recognized company to provide certified Canine(K9) Narcotic and Explosive Detection services for the US government and other agencies both nationally and internationally.
