That’s the reason we operate our own permanent training facility, where we not only train our uniformed personnel to Securiguard’s own high standards, but also provide ongoing refresher and advanced programs, specialty security training, and seminars on everything ranging from workplace safety to emergency preparedness for our clients and their employees.
Securiguard’s Centre for Advanced Training provides basic, intermediate and advanced levels of security training are provided by highly skilled and experienced Instructors. We offer Basic Security Training (BST) I and II for security licensing certification in B.C. Approved to provide security patrol training by the province of British Columbia, Security Programs, Police Services Division, Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General.

Tourism British Columbia has recognized us as a “SuperHost” Business, and Securiguard has developed this standard for the security industry, trade marking the “SecurityHost” name and retaining our own Tourism British Columbia certified SuperHost Instructor.

In order to work as a security employee in the province of British Columbia, all applicants must complete an eight-day BST (Basic Skills Training) certification training course.
Securiguard is proud to offer this course to our potential employees at NO CHARGE. By enrolling in our provincially recognized BST training program, you will be equipped with all the skills you'll need to succeed as a Securiguard employee.
To meet the demand of our constantly-growing portfolio of clients, Securiguard hires approximately to 96% of all students who complete the course.
