Securiguard’s proven history in K9 detection began in 2002 when we were called upon to inspect cargo destined for the cruise ship terminal at the Port of Vancouver. Our organization partnered with an internationally recognized company to provide certified K9 narcotic and explosive detection services. Our operations have since expanded throughout British Columbia.
Since its inception, the K9 Unit has expanded to include foot patrols for customer sites, and explosive, weapons and narcotics detection services. The Unit has also been used in crowd control situations for major events. The use of dogs, in conjunction with trained security guards, adds a high level of deterrence and added peace of mind for our clients.
